While initially rooted in the Augusta area, our community of musicians has expanded far beyond its original boundaries, reflecting the interconnected and evolving world of music today. Although our business address is now in North Augusta, South Carolina, In Praise of Music serves a broad and diverse audience, transcending geographical limits.
At its core, In Praise of Music is a consortium of accomplished musicians who work as independent contractors under the general oversight of an Artistic Director. This leadership ensures that professional standards are upheld in all aspects of our work, from live performances to educational programming and community collaborations. For special worship services, weddings, parties, and other events, our experienced Managers oversee musician contracting and curation, operating under the Artistic Director’s guidance to deliver high-quality, tailored performances.
Our musicians offer a wide range of services, including:
